Deactivating user accounts

At times, you may need to restrict access for certain users without permanently deleting their accounts. ReadyCMS allows you to deactivate user accounts, effectively preventing the user from signing in while retaining their account data.

Steps to deactivate a user account

1. Login: Sign in to your ReadyCMS account.
2. Navigation: Navigate to Users > All users from the Settings dropdown menu located in the main navigation bar.
3. User selection: On the Users page, locate the user you wish to deactivate. Next to their name, you'll find the Edit option.
   
4. Deactivation: Clicking Edit will direct you to a new page. In the Account type section, set the Status to Inactive.
   
5. Save changes: Confirm the deactivation by clicking the Save button.
