If you need to remove a category from a product, whether because you added it accidentally or you redefining your category tree, you can do it by using the Categories widget.
How to remove categories from products
In order to remove the category from a product, take the following steps:
- Sign in to your ReadyCMS account
- Click on the Shop > Products > All Products
- Choose the product from the list of products and click the Edit button
- On the Edit product page, there is a Categories section (with a list of existing categories which you can browse and choose one or more categories that suit you)
- Toggle off the category you wish by clicking the toggle switch button next to it
- Click the Save button to confirm changes
