Providing various payment methods is crucial for accommodating customer preferences and maximizing revenue opportunities.

ReadyCMS allows you to select from a range of preset payment options suited to different business models.

How to set up payment types

  1. Login: Sign in to your ReadyCMS account.
  2. Navigate to settings: Go to SettingsShop > Payment.
  3. Choose or add a payment type: Select from existing types or click the + Add payment type button for new additions.

  4. Fill in the payment type form: When adding a new type, enter details like title and description.

    Note: Payment methods encompass various ways merchants can collect payments (e.g., cash, credit cards, digital wallets). These are not automatically enabled but help link your website's payment forms with ReadyCMS orders.
  5. Save changes: Click Save to apply your new settings.

Available payment method options

ReadyCMS offers a diverse range of payment methods to cater to various customer preferences and business models. When setting up your payment types, you can choose from the following options in the Payment Method dropdown:

  • Pay on delivery: This option allows buyers to pay for their purchase upon delivery. Ideal for businesses offering local delivery services.
  • Pay on pickup: Suitable for click-and-collect models, where buyers order online and pay when they pick up their items.
  • Bank transfer: Enables buyers to transfer funds directly to your bank account. A secure choice for larger transactions.
  • Cash: This includes both Cash on Delivery (COD) and Cash on Pickup options. It’s perfect for businesses that interact directly with customers.
  • Checks: For customers who prefer making payments via traditional checks. This method is typically used in B2B transactions or specific regions.
  • Card: Credit and debit card payments are one of the most common online payment methods. They provide a fast and secure way to transact.
  • PayPal: A widely used online payment system that offers a convenient and secure way for customers to pay.
  • POS (Point of sale): This method refers to transactions carried out where the sale takes place, often through a digital or physical storefront.
  • Other: ReadyCMS also allows for the integration of other payment methods as per your business needs or customer demand.

Each of these payment options can be tailored to fit your business's unique operations and customer base.
