The Order subscription plugin in ReadyCMS allows you to offer recurring purchase options to your customers, enabling them to buy products from your store regularly.

This feature is ideal for businesses that sell consumable or frequently needed items, as it enhances customer convenience and encourages repeat sales.

Enhable plugin
If you belong to these businesses, we strongly recommend you go to the Plugins section in your ReadyCMS admin panel and activate the Subscriptions plugin.

Once activated, you'll see new subscription options within the 'edit order' page, allowing you to set up recurring orders for specific items.

Setting up an order Subscription

After activating the plugin, follow these steps to configure a subscription:

  1. Go to the 'Edit order' page: Locate the new Subscription option on the 'Edit order' page.

  2. Select 'Subscription interval': Choose the desired frequency for the subscription (e.g., weekly, biweekly, monthly).
  3. Save the Order settings: Save the settings once you've set the interval and other necessary details.
    The subscription will now be active, and the system will automatically process the order according to the defined interval.

Viewing subscribed orders in the 'All orders' list

To view orders with active subscriptions in your list of 'All orders,' first, you need to enable subscription display in the lists settings.

In the 'Edit columns' settings, press the On/Off button next to the Subscription option.

Once the column has been enabled, you can see which orders have their subscription set up. Within the Edit Order page, the Subscription section provides a summary of the recurring order details:

  • Status: Indicates whether the subscription is active.
  • Interval: Displays the subscription frequency (e.g., quarterly = 90 days).
  • Next order date: Shows the next scheduled order date, helping you and your customers keep track of upcoming deliveries.
