Ready Protect is a plugin that monitors and detects harmful behavior and various threats and attacks on your website. There are two things you need to do before Ready Protect is ready: enable the Ready Protect plugin and install the Watcheye script.
How to enable Ready Protect plugin
- Sign in to your ReadyCMS account
- Hover over the Settings dropdown menu (in the main menu/navigation bar) with your mouse
- Click on Plugins
- On the Plugins & Tools page find the Ready Protect plugin
- Clicking the Activate button will enable the plugin
How to install Watcheye script
To install Watcheye, copy the script in the < head > or < body > tag.
Note:
Part of the code marked with red is different for every client.
Please be aware that you must not change the script in any way.
How to check if Ready Protect is working
If your Ready Protect plugin is working properly, there will be a green-lighted message "Ready Protect systems are working properly!" on your Ready Protect dashboard.
If the light goes red and the message changes, Ready Protect is not working properly. In this case, please check the script or contact the website developer or administrator.
